Question:
I can't find how to change the wording on email notifications sent to customers who use MobilePrint 2.2. For example - we do not allow print release from My Print Center how do I remove that information from the default email that is sent?
Answer:
The email messages are configured based on HTML template files used by Mobile Print. The wording of them can be modified. The files are located in the below directory on the server running the "Mobile Print Workflow Service" which is responsible for sending the reply email via the configured SMTP Server.
C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\MobilePrint\EmailResources (default location unless you installed the software to a different volume)
Create a backup copy of all of the files in the above directory before making any changes.
Edit the html pages to your liking, there are 7 of them.
Do not remove or modify the placeholders for data you see inside the { }. For example, in the DefaultAuthenticationTemplate.html there is a placeholder called "{MANAGELINK}". Do not remove or modify these.
PLEASE NOTE: Any Mobile Print upgrade will overwrite these files and your changes will be lost. The previous edited files cannot be saved if this happens. We recommend making a backup of your changes so that after an upgrade to the next version you can restore the customizations quickly.
