To enable the Pharos LDAP Plug in to authenticate against LDAP version 3, ensure you have the correct Plug in attached. Create a DWORD registry entry at HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Pharos\LDAP Plugin\use LDAP version3 and set the value to 1. Note that if SSL is used, LDAP version 3 will always be utilized, as SSL is only supported by version 3.

Make sure you are running the LDAP Plug-in that is supplied as an attachment to this article.
To turn on version 3, you need to create a DWORD registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Pharos\LDAP Plugin\use LDAP version3
Set the value to 1
Note: If SSL is used, LDAP version 3 will always be used, regardless of this value, as SSL is only supported by version 3.
