Mac Print Scout Update

Why am I seeing "Support Ending for Intel-Based Apps" with Mac Print Scout?
Customers using Mac Print Scout on newer Macs may see the following Apple-generated notice in macOS 26.4

"Support Ending for Inter-Based Apps. This version of 'print scout-ui' will not open in a future release of macOS. Lear how to update to an Apple silicon version"

The message appears because Mac Print Scout currently relies on Rosetta, Apple's compatibility tool that allows Intel-based apps to run on Apple silicon Macs. Rosetta is currently required for Mac Print Scout on Apple silicon devices.

What do I need to do?

You can dismiss the message and continue using Pharos as usual. No action is required at this time.

Is this an immediate issue?

No this is not an immediate issue with macOS 26.4. It is Apple notifying users about a future change expected in 2027

What is Pharos doing about it?

Pharos is aware of the notice and plans to release an updated version of Print Scout. We'll provide updates as they become available.
