Article summary

In Windows NT/2000/XP environments, the tracking of network printers would sometimes fail on those network printers that were added after the Tracker was installed. After uninstalling the Tracker, it would not be possible to uninstall these printers.

Apply Blueprint 2.0 Hot Fix 2 (dated 3/30/03) from the Pharos website:

http://www.pharos.com/Support/Downloads/Hotfixes_Blueprint_2.0.html

To apply the fix to existing Trackers:

Copy the upgrade package PSPrintTrackerUpgradePackage.exe to the Collector PC.

Run the upgrade package by double-clicking on it.

On the dialog that appears, select 'Install the upgrade package onto the Blueprint Collector' and click Next.

Once the upgrade package has been applied, ensure that Automatic Upgrades have been configured in Blueprint Administrator (File menu > Configure Automatic Upgrades).

To ensure that any new Trackers installed will contain the fix:

Copy the PSPrintTrackerInstall.exe file over the existing one located on the Collector PC at Program Files\Blueprint\Templates.

Open Blueprint Administrator, and select Create Auto-Installers from the File menu.
