Article summary

Question:

Is there a way to display "Printer Temporarily Out of Order" on the Omega terminals (PS-150, PS-200 & PS-200ET), iMFP terminals, or Release Station easily?

Information:

This is actually very easy. All you need to do is create a new Access Time in Uniprint (System > Access Time) that has an available slot really early on a Sunday morning. Call it something like Out of Order. Issue a change control.

Then select the Release Station (Omegas, iMFP, and Release Stations all qualify here) and choose that Access Time in the station's General section. Issue another change control. You can modify the Omega terminal's "Error Access Unavailable" text (under Authentication in Theming > Edit on the Omega's web page) to arrive at the attached interface. When the printer is available, you simply need to change the Access Time back to All Times.
