About

This document describes the changes in Pharos Sentry Print Service version 3.86.12 and implementation directions for Blueprint Enterprise 5.3 Update 7 servers.

Release Notes

Pharos Sentry Print Service version 3.86.12 contains the following changes:
-Updated Secure Print App icon for HP devices.
-Bug fix - Upgrading Sentry Print would previously overwrite the value of base FQDN in the Sentry Print generalSettings.config file. If this was configured to allow secure devices to refer to collectors using a CName, then such secure devices would no longer be able to contact a collector.

Installation

Simply run the installer Mps.Client.Mfp.Install.msi. This will upgrade Sentry Print to 3.86.12. Any configured Sentry Print settings will be retained.

Instructions for subsequent upgrade to Blueprint 5.4

The Blueprint 5.4 Installer image contains the installer for Sentry Print 3.86.10. in the Integrations\PharosMfpSiteService directory.
If Sentry Print on a 5.3 Update 7 Server has been upgraded to 3.86.12, the attempt to run the older Sentry Print installer will fail.
The Print Center upgrade, which depends on Sentry Print will be cancelled.
- Copy the installer for Sentry Print 3.86.11 to the Integrations\PharosMfpSiteService directory of the Blueprint 5.4 installer image replacing the original.
- Run the Blueprint 5.4 setup.exe to upgrade.
