Article summary

Problem:

When installing the Vista Popup Client packages the following error occurs:

"An unidentified program wants access to your computer"

(Screen Shot Attached)

Solution:

The Pharos Package Installer needs to run with “Run as Administrator”. When it runs, the attached dialog will appear.

Select "Allow", which will continue the installation of the Pharos package.

Note: Since this dialog is controlled by Microsoft, it cannot be disabled and will appear when a person installs the Pharos package for the first time. It will not appear when the auto updater updates an existing package.
