Is the Pharos Canon MEAP Integration compatible with Canon Universal Send?

Can I load the Pharos Canon MEAP integration when I am also using Canon Universal Send?

Yes. Pharos is compatible with Canon Universal Send.

With the Pharos Integration installed users must provide authentication to access to the device. This prevents unauthorized access of the device in public locations. Once authenticated the Pharos Canon MEAP Integration publish's the user's e-mail address internally within the Canon device. Universal Send can then be set up to not allow the "from:" field to be changed so that e-mails always come from the authenticated user. This means the sender is always going to be the authenticated users e-mail.

For Canon multifunction devices that are capable this then enables the "Send to Myself" function on the iR. A "Send to Myself" button appears and, when pressed, the e-mail is sent from the user to the user.
