Question:

When I use the touch screen on the PS200 Omega Terminal, the characters that appear to be selected are shifted compared to what is pressed. Is there a way to realign the touch screen on the Omega PS200's?

Answer:

The process below will facilitate re-calibration of the Omega TouchPad screen.

  1. Power off the device by unplugging the power from the PS200.

  2. Place a finger on the touchpad and keep touching the screen while you plug in the power again.

  3. Leave your finger on the screen while it boots up and eventually you will see a screen that shows "Entering calibration"

  4. What you will see is a screen with a black box on a white background and all you need to do is simply touch in the locations the screen prompts you for.

Once calibration is complete there will be a message if you were close or not and it will either begin the Omega software or prompt to re-touch the screen again.
