Uniprint 9.2 Pharos Station Revision 327

This update addresses known problems with Uniprint 9.2.

Before You Start

• This hot-fix should only be applied to installations using Uniprint Suite 9.2.

Installation

The update affects the Pharos Station, and should be applied to all Pharos Station machines using cash card readers.

To apply the update:

1. On each Pharos Station machine, close the Pharos Station application.

2. Run the supplied PharosStationInstaller.exe executable to upgrade the Pharos Station.

3. The version number of the PStation.exe file in the Pharos\Bin folder will now be 9.2.10000.327.

4. Start the Pharos Station application.

To update the locally held copy of the Pharos Station Installer:

• The installer for the Pharos Station is stored on each machine where Pharos Administrator is installed. This file should be updated on each Administrator machine for future Pharos Station installs:

  • On each Pharos Administrator machine, copy the PharosStationInstaller.exe file to the Pharos\Client Installers directory, overwriting the existing file.

The application of this update constitutes acceptance of the conditions specified in your license agreement. To view the license agreement, please refer to the license.rtf file on your Pharos CD.

Details

This update addresses the following issues:

• Cashcard reader job 'processing' state. When using cardreaders at Pharos Stations, if a job release failed due to insufficient funds, the job would be set to a 'processing' state indefinitely and could no longer be managed by admin users via the Pharos Print Center. This update resolves this issue when used in conjunction with Pharos Print Service 9.2.10000.327 or later.
