Article summary

Product:

Mobile Print for Uniprint (any version)

Mobile Print for Blueprint (any version)

Problem:

When I try to release a print job from Print Center that I uploaded or emailed into the system I am getting an error like below.

Error releasing print job: Failed to render Job Id '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001' as the render server does not have an available print queue that uses the ''Microsoft PCL6 Class Driver' driver with Greyscaling 'Converted by Printer (Recommended)'' print driver.

Answer:

The Pharos Alert you are seeing in the Pharos Administrator indicates that the "Printer Mappings" in the MobilePrint configuration are pointing to a 'Microsoft PCL6 Class Driver' that would not be valid for your MP Renderer Queues.

You can login to Print Center as an administrator and check the MobilePrint driver mappings to set them to the appropriate driver for each Model of Printer you have. If there are no other drivers available or you wish to use a different driver for a Model of Device, then you can follow the Mobile Print documentation on how to add a Renderer Queue to the system that you can then select in the Mobile Print configuration in Print Center for that Model of Device.

You should ensure that these Renderer Queues are setup on all the servers hosting the Mobile Print Worker Service.

Note: For information on how to add Print Drivers to Mobile Print see the Mobile Print Advanced documentatio.
