When I press "Test Connection" on the iMFP web page or Omega terminal, I get the message "Network Unavailable. The connection was refused remotely. Contact an Administrator." Why?
To resolve "Network Unavailable. The connection was refused remotely. Contact an Administrator," check to see if the TCP/IP IPv6 protocol is installed and configured on the server hosting the Pharos EDI service. If IPv6 is installed and configured on the server, it will have to be disabled unless the Pharos terminal is configured to use the Pharos EDI server's configured IPv4 address and not a host name.
This is due to DNS behavior within Microsoft Windows. If the Pharos terminal is configured to use a host name rather than an IP address, it must resolve the server through DNS. When the DNS server resolves, it does so with the IPv6 address instead of the IPv4 address of the Pharos EDI server, which the Pharos terminal does not support, thus the message.
