When I try to login and see my list of print jobs on the HP iMFP device I see the below SSL Error "45.00.33" on the panel of the device or the very same error can also have a 45.00.3C code.
Or a 45.00.3C (which is found on newer versions of HP Firmware instead of the 45.00.33)
Note: The error number has changed but the SSL Certificate error is still the same.
You will get this message when using an SSL Certificate in IIS that is using a Root CA that is not present on the device, in Certificate Management section of the devices EWS console. Additionally it may happen when any of the other Intermediate SSL Certificates in the Certificate chain are missing. Also, when you use a a self-signed certificate on the server this will happen.
When you have a 3rd party SSL Certificate on the server that has one or more Intermediate Certificates in the Certificate Chain then each of those will need to be exported and added to the print device itself if they are not already present, likely they won't be.
For example, if this Certificate is on the server then I would need to export the other two Certificates and import them onto the HP device. The "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" certificate and the "DST Root CA X3" certificate.
