Product:
Pharos KM iMFP v1.5.4 and older
Blueprint or Uniprint - any version
Problem:
When attempting to login/authenticate at a device the error code "2236" is display like below along with a "Connection timed out" message.
Additional details: The problem is that the SSL Certificate used by the KM iMFP v1.5.4 and older versions of the solution expired on 6/17/2021. When the older versions were created they utilized an SSL Certificate which was valid for 5 years and has now expired. Versions greater than 1.5.4 of the solution utilize an SSL Certificate which is for 10 years and expires in 2028.
Resolution:
Option #1 (Workaround).
Disable the SSL Certificate validation on the device. A sample screen shot below is from a BizHub C458 device. The location of this setting may be different on different models, please consult your Konica Minolta technician for where it may be located on your device if the below image does not match that of your device and your unable to find it.
Option #2 (Recommended).
Upgrade the KM iMFP solution to at least 1.5.7 or greater. The Pharos v2.x software can be found on our web site using the link below.

Note: For version v1.5.7 please contact Pharos Support and request a link, version v1.5.7 is no longer a supported version; however, it may be suitable if some of your devices do not have the Konica Minolta WebKit installed on the devices which is a requirement of the v2 version.
